Cartersville is a city in Bartow County, Georgia, United States; it is located within the northwest edge of the Atlanta metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 23,187. Cartersville is the county seat of Bartow County.
Cartersville, originally known as Birmingham, was founded by English-Americans in 1832. The town was incorporated as Cartersville in 1854.
The present name is for Col. Farish Carter of Milledgeville, the owner of a large plantation.
Cartersville was the long-time home of Amos Akerman, U.S. Attorney General under President Ulysses S. Grant; in that office he spearheaded the federal prosecution of members of the Ku Klux Klan and was one of the most important public servants of the Reconstruction era.
Cartersville was designated the seat of Bartow County in 1867 following the destruction of Cassville by Sherman in the American Civil War.
Cartersville was incorporated as a city in 1872.

The experience from start to finish was exceptional. I came in for a consult for a breast augmentation revision. First I had a consult with a well known facility in Atlanta. I spent 5 minutes with the Dr. and she just measured my breasts asked if I was top or under and sent me to their consult manager who told me everything they would do and gave me the price. I chose Dr. Gusching because he took the time to cover all my options and explained the different procedures. He did not make me feel rushed and answered any questions I had. Dr. Gusching did not recommend all the extra the other place did and when I inquired about it, he explained what they were/did and why he wasn’t recommending at this point. I just hit my 6 weeks and couldn’t be happier with the results. Dr. Gusching and his staff at Reflections in Cartersville are hands down number 1. I will recommend them to all my family and friends wanting to get implants or revisions.

Dr. Gusching performed a thighplasty surgery on me July 21, 2022. The results are absolutely amazing. He showed me my before and after photos and I was completely shocked at the results.
